Lydia Straznicky
I’m so glad to be a part of the Breast Rehab team and to use my knowledge and training to help people to get back to doing what they love.
I am a physiotherapy graduate from Queen’s University. Throughout my time in the program, I have worked in many settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient medical/surgical units, and inpatient rehabilitation units. I completed my fifth and final clinical placement here at Breast Rehab which sparked my interests in oncology and women’s health.
Since graduating, I have taken several additional courses. I completed my acupuncture training with McMaster University in fall 2021 and my lymphedema training with Academy of Lymphatic Studies in spring 2022. I have a passion for learning and am excited to be a lifelong learner here at Breast Rehab.
When not at work, you can find me spending time with family and friends or staying active through running, lifting weights, playing tennis, and skiing.
